Joel serves as the business development technical liaison for The Pentad Group, responsible for project management and operations management.
Joel’s expertise and experiences include:
- Implementing, re-engineering and managing system implementations
- Coordinating acquisitions/divestitures
- Developing shared service centers
- Preparing IPO/SEC for start-ups and mature companies
- Managing Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives worldwide
- Serving as Interim CFO for all types of companies, from start-ups to large corporations
- Building infrastructure for accounting and finance departments
Prior to joining The Pentad Group, Joel was a Practice Director at a mid-size consulting firm. During his career, he has held several Director
of Finance, Controller and Treasury roles. Joel has an M.B.A. from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management in Boston, Massachusetts,
and his B.S. and M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Joel is a member of Financial Executives
International, Turnaround Management Association and The Institute of Internal Auditors.
