WELLESLEY HILLS, MA (September 15, 2006) – Mary-Margaret Tormey, Principal of The Pentad Group, located in Wellesley Hills Mass., is pleased to announce that Renée Chin was hired as a Financial Consultant. Chin’s responsibilities will include executing finance and accounting projects at various middle-market clients in the New England Area.

Chin, a seasoned accounting and finance professional with more than 15 years of experience, has been in consulting for the past eight years. Her vast consulting industry experience includes financial services, retail, manufacturing, hi-technology, healthcare, utilities and non-profit. She is an expert at Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, financial systems integration, project management and all facets of general accounting and finance.

Chin began her career at Cambridge-Lee Industries, a metal manufacturer in Allston Mass., as a Customer Services Manager, then moved into various accounting roles, including Internal Auditor and Cost Accountant. After seven years at Cambridge-Lee Industries, she took a role as a Financial Consultant at Parson Consulting, where she was responsible for executing on various finance and accounting projects.

“Chin’s extensive consulting experience within so many industries, as well as her strong technical accounting skills and ability to work with all levels of management will be a tremendous asset to our company,” Tormey said. “Chin’s strong work ethic and outgoing personality combines to make her a valuable addition to our team.”

Chin, who has a BA in business administration/accounting from the University of Massachusetts, resides in Watertown, Mass. In her spare time, Chin enjoys volunteering for various non-profit organizations including the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATFADV) and Kick-Start for Kids (KSFK), which raises research funds for Nephrotic Syndrome, an incurable kidney disorder. In addition, Chin assists her family in managing real estate properties and making frequent trips down to New Jersey to visit her niece and nephew.
