25-Year Industry Veteran Provides Finance and Accounting Professional Services Expertise to Middle-Market Clients

WELLESLEY HILLS, MA (August 6, 2007) – Kate McLellan, Principal of The Pentad Group, located in Wellesley Hills, Mass., is pleased to announce that Dan Jones was hired as Business Development Manager, reporting directly to Tom Goltz.

Previously, Jones was a Senior Manager at Wolf & Company in Boston, where he focused on Human Resources. Before Wolf & Company, Jones founded Atlantic Search Group, Inc. in 1989, which he sold to Spherion, Inc. in 2004. At Atlantic Search Group, Inc. and Spherion, Inc., Dan and his team were responsible for the direct hire and contract staffing, focused on the search and placement of accounting and finance professionals in New England. His industry focuses included investment management, financial services, technology, retail, distribution and general services.

Dan started his career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse, and then moved onto Laventhol & Horwath. After becoming a licensed CPA,, Jones spent five years as an Accounting & Finance Recruiter at Winter Wyman & Company before founding Altantic Search Group. With more than 25 years of business experience, Jones will now be responsible for developing relationships with clients and once established, managing the on-going activities within these accounts. In addition to selling finance and accounting consulting services, Jones will be helping to establish a direct hire practice within Pentad to serve our client base.

Jones, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in management with a concentration in accounting from Boston College, resides in Framingham, Mass., with his wife Margaret and three children. In his free time, Dan enjoys golf, running, and watching Framingham High School Girl’s Lacrosse win State Championships.
